Quotation maker
Fill in your details, the customer and the items. The quotation builds as you type, with GST, validity and terms. Download it as PDF.
- Enter your name and the customer's.
- Add items, GST, validity and terms.
- Check the preview and download the quotation as PDF.
- A good quotation: Clear items and quantities, prices before and after GST, validity date, payment terms and delivery time. Customers should not need to call to understand it.
- Validity: Always state how long the price holds, so costs that rise later do not hurt your margin.
Sales commission calculator
Target, sales achieved, the base commission and the accelerator above target. See achievement %, the payout and the effective commission rate.
- Enter the target and sales achieved.
- Enter the gate, the base rate and the accelerator.
- See achievement % and the payout.
- Gate: Many plans pay nothing below a minimum achievement, often 60% to 80% of target. It stops paying for very weak months.
- Accelerator: A higher rate on sales above target rewards over-achievers and keeps them selling after they hit the number.
Sales funnel calculator
Start from the revenue you want. With your deal size and conversion rates, see how many deals, opportunities and leads you need each month.
- Enter the revenue target and the months to reach it.
- Enter the average deal size and your conversion rates.
- See the deals, opportunities and leads needed each month.
- Work backwards: Revenue ÷ deal size = deals. Deals ÷ win rate = opportunities. Opportunities ÷ lead conversion = leads.
- Use your own numbers: Take conversion rates from your last 6 to 12 months. Guesses make the plan look better than it is.
CAC and LTV calculator
Sales and marketing spend, new customers, revenue per customer, gross margin and churn. See what a customer costs, what they are worth, and how fast you earn it back.
- Enter monthly sales and marketing spend and new customers.
- Enter revenue per customer, gross margin and monthly churn.
- See CAC, LTV, the ratio and the payback months.
- CAC: Customer acquisition cost: all sales and marketing spend divided by new customers in the same period.
- LTV: Lifetime value: monthly revenue per customer × gross margin ÷ monthly churn. It is the gross profit a customer brings before leaving.
Discount and margin calculator
Cost, list price and discount. See the new price, margin and markup, and how many more units you must sell to make the same profit as before.
- Enter the cost of one unit and the list price.
- Enter the discount you plan to give.
- See the margin and the extra sales needed to keep the same profit.
- Margin and markup: Margin is profit as a % of the selling price. Markup is profit as a % of cost. A 40% margin is a 67% markup.
- Discounts eat profit fast: A 15% discount on a 40% margin product cuts profit per unit by more than a third, so you must sell much more to stand still.
