Attrition cost calculator
Every resignation costs more than the hiring fee. See the full yearly cost of attrition, and what bringing it down a few points would save.
- Enter your headcount, yearly attrition and average CTC.
- Add hiring cost, days a seat stays empty and months to full speed.
- Read the yearly cost, then try a lower attrition rate to see the saving.
- How it is worked out: Hiring cost is agency or recruiter cost. Empty seat cost is one day of salary for each day the role is open. Ramp-up assumes half output while a new person learns.
- These are estimates: Real costs also include manager time, lost customers and team morale, so the true figure is often higher. Change the inputs to match your data.
Hiring ramp planner
Need to grow from 20 to 200 people? See how many offers to make each quarter, how many recruiters you need, and what the team will cost.
- Enter people today, the target headcount and months to get there.
- Add offer acceptance, hires per recruiter and average CTC.
- See offers per quarter, recruiters needed and the cost in INR and USD.
- Plan for drop-offs: Not every offer is accepted, and notice periods in India are often 60 to 90 days. Start offers early.
- Replace leavers too: Attrition means you hire more than the growth number. This plan adds replacements for people who leave.
Offer letter maker
Fill in the role, CTC and joining date. Get a clean offer letter with a salary annexure, ready to print or save as a PDF.

- Check the letter and salary annexure, then print or save it as a PDF.
- Basic at 50%: Under the labour codes, wages (basic plus DA) should be at least half of pay. The annexure keeps basic at 50% of CTC.
- What CTC includes: This break-up includes employer PF (12% of basic, capped at ₹1,800 a month) and gratuity (4.81% of basic). Take-home is lower than CTC / 12.
