Good to know
Add a buffer
Most projects run late. A 10% to 20% buffer on the total protects the date you promise.
Tasks in order
This planner runs tasks one after another. If two can run together, plan them as one task with the longer duration.
Holidays
Remove public holidays and leave from the working days, or add them to the buffer.
Share the plan
Copy the plan and share it with the client or team so everyone works to the same dates.
Questions people ask
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is free and you do not need to sign up. Open it and use it as often as you like.
Is my data safe?
The numbers are worked out in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to USR unless you choose to email yourself the result.
How accurate is the result?
It is an estimate based on the rules shown on this page as of November 2026, not legal or tax advice. Rules and rates change, so check with your CA before you act.
Can tasks run in parallel?
Not in this free planner. USR Projects handles parallel tasks, dependencies and people.
Does it skip holidays?
It skips Sundays, and Saturdays if you pick Mon to Fri. Add holidays to the buffer.
Projects that finish on time and on budget
USR Projects tracks tasks, people, hours and costs, and warns early when a date is at risk.
