Offer A
Offer B
Good to know
Fixed first
Monthly in-hand pay comes from the fixed part of the CTC. Variable pay depends on targets and is paid later.
Joining bonus
A joining bonus helps in year one only, and often has to be paid back if you leave early.
Look beyond pay
Health cover, learning budget, leave, hybrid work and growth matter as much as a small pay gap.
Assumptions
Basic at 50% of fixed pay, PF at 12% on up to ₹15,000, ₹200 professional tax and the new tax regime.
